The Brief
Working with the venue and its parent company - the client was in need of updated content for their digital and print advertising. This included weddings, private events, nightlife events, food and venue photography and videography.
The key part of the brief was to ensure that all content matched the high standard of the venue and showcase the beauty and elegance of the venue. Working with the leadership team within the venue, we identified several key areas of improvement in terms of marketing material and were in need of support in planning and delivering that content.
The Outcome
Detailed below is the outcome of several digital projects that were identified and ran by myself. Unless stated otherwise, all of the content below was planned, scheduled, and created by myself.
I worked with the chef and manager in order to organise, schedule, and shoot a food photography session with the goal being to promote the venues bottomless brunch platters.
I also worked with the clients parent company in order to shoot several of their ABOVE hosted weddings, which were used as marketing material for the wedding side of the business.
In addition to the marketing content creation, I also worked with the parent company in order to design and deliver several key marketing materials which were used for digital and print-based marketing strategies.
it’s not just a brunch or a catch up with prosecco, it’s a memory worth savouring.
ABOVE Newcastle is not only a stunning venue with breathtaking views to experience, it also provides mouth-watering platters and exceptional service. When booking in for a bottomless brunch, the guests don’t simply get a selection of forgettable food, but instead are provided with a board of gourmet foods to excite the tastebuds. This is what we set out to capture for the venue with this particular photoshoot.
ALTO sessions at above newcastle
Another key aspect of ABOVE Newcastle is offering unforgettable nights on the rooftop of heart of Newcastle.
One of which is an event known an ALTO - a dance / electronic night that sees legendary artists such as Roger Sanchez and The Shapeshifters take to the DJ decks and host unforgettable nights for its patrons.
I had the pleasure of being present to film and edit the promotional content for them.

Growing the Gainford Wedding brand
Working with Gainford Group and the team at ABOVE Newcastle, we worked to create high quality content to promote their respective brands.
This particular project included designing marketing material for each brands joint ventures, as well as filming and capturing videos to be used in conjunction of pushing events and open days.
