Celebrating the carabao cup after a 70 year wait

The Brief
After a 70 year wait Newcastle United F.C found themselves at the Carabao Cup final, taking home the trophy. Bringing home an illustrious sense of pride and achievement, they wanted to plan a private celebration on the night of the Magpie’s Carabao Cup Parade to celebrate their success with the shareholders and long-term fans in the heart of the city. The client required a high-end private event in the centre of Newcastle that provided luxury, privacy, food & drink, and entertainment.

The Outcome
We worked incredibly closely with the client in order to quickly discover their needs and hopes for the night. With a clear set of goals and outcomes, we transformed ABOVE, a rooftop luxury bar and venue, into the perfect space for their private party. We crafted an experience of celebration in which each guest would have their importance and value highlighted. Upon arrival, each guest would receive a bespoke wristband, an escort up to the rooftop, a drink upon arrival and access to an open bar as they enjoy the entertainment until the food was delivered.
